FRED HIXSON, DIRECTOR AND INSTRUCTOR

“You need to be a defensive driver. Always watch out and never trust the other guy.”

For 43 years, Mr. Hixson taught Health and Physical Education at the Franklin Regional School District. He is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Driver’s Safety. He has taught Driver’s Education for 22 years, and has been recognized by the school board for having three of his students achieve state championships and national placement in the AMVETS / Chrysler National Driving Competition, along with cars and college scholarships.

Mr. Berardinelli is a Health and Physical Education teacher at the Franklin Regional School District. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education along with a Degree in Safety and Driver Education. Mr. Berardinelli has taught students from all backgrounds to drive at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Berardinelli is patient and enjoys the challenge to make everyone great defensive drivers.
